Parent-Child Pass Praxis Desk

The parent-child pass tracks pregnancy care in the patient record: due date, examination schedule, and birth details.

The parent-child pass requires the Parent-Child Pass module for Praxis and Desk. The optional custom measurement fields also require the Custom Fields module.

Where do I find the parent-child pass in the patient record?

1. Open the customer list and click the name of the person you want.
2. The parent-child pass appears as its own section in the patient record.

Prerequisites

• The Parent-Child Pass module is active.
• You need the right permission to view it, and a separate one to create it.

Adding a parent-child pass

1. Open the patient record's action menu.
2. Click Mutter-Kind-Pass.
3. Enter the first day of the last period or the calculated due date. Offisy calculates the other value automatically and suggests it with a green apply button.
4. If needed, enter the corrected due date (per ultrasound).
5. Select the pediatrician.
6. Optionally enter the child's name.
7. Select the type of birth: No selection, Natural, C-section, Water birth, Vacuum, or Other.
8. Fill in any custom measurement fields if needed.
9. Turn on the child was born switch once the child has arrived.
10. Click Save.

Offisy then shows the message "Eltern-Kind-Pass wurde erstellt."

Managing examinations

Once you enter the first day of the last period, Offisy calculates an examination schedule by pregnancy week:

Week 11–14	Nuchal fold measurement
Up to week 16	Blood draw
Week 17–20	Internal examination
Week 18–22	Midwife consultation, parent-child pass examination
Week 20–22	Organ screening
Week 24–28	Oral glucose tolerance test
Week 25–28	Parent-child pass examination, blood draw
Week 28	Rhesus factor negative (injection), if blood type is negative
Week 30–34	Parent-child pass examination
From week 32	Blood draw after week 32 (optional)
Week 35–38	Parent-child pass examination
From week 28	Pertussis (whooping cough vaccine) starting in the 3rd trimester

1. In the Examinations section, click Manage.
2. Check off completed examinations, or click Select all or Deselect.
3. Completed examinations then appear under Show completed.

As long as the child isn't marked as born, Offisy also shows the current pregnancy week, up to week 40.

Editing a parent-child pass

1. In the parent-child pass section, open the action menu (three dots).
2. Click Edit.
3. Adjust the fields and save.

Deleting a parent-child pass

1. In the parent-child pass section, open the action menu (three dots).
2. Click Delete.
3. Confirm the prompt.
