Notes Praxis Desk

You can add internal notes to every record — as free-text fields in the master data or as structured notes with a title, date, and assigned person.

Free-text note fields

The master data (when editing a record) includes four freely labeled note fields:

  • Note field 1 (default: "Note")
  • Note field 2 (default: "Additional note")
  • Note field 3 (default: "Supplementary note field")
  • Note field 4 (default: "Cave")

You can rename these labels under Settings → Patient / Customer management → Note fields.

Structured notes

Structured notes are standalone entries with more detail.

Adding a note

  1. Open the record you want.
  2. Switch to the Notes section.
  3. Click + Note.
  4. Fill in the fields:
    • Title
    • Date
    • Text
    • Assigned person (optional)
  5. Click Save.

Pinning a note

Click the pin icon on a note to pin it to the top of the list. Pinned notes are immediately visible when you open the record.

Editing or deleting a note

Click the action menu (three dots) on the note you want, then select Edit or Delete.
