Edit Patient / Customer Praxis Desk

Edit the master data of an existing record at any time via the customer list.

Requirements

• You are logged in with the Edit customers permission.

How to do it

1. Open the Customer list.
2. Click the record you want to open.
3. Click Edit (or the pencil icon).
4. Change the desired fields (all fields from Create patient are editable).
5. Click Save.

Additional settings when editing

Booking mode

Controls who can book appointments with this person:

Mode	Meaning
Default	All users can book appointments
Whitelist	Only selected users may book
Blacklist	Selected users are blocked

eCard opt-outs

Availability

Only available in offisy Praxis.

• Medication opt-out: Disables eCard access to medication data.
• Vaccination opt-out: Disables eCard access to vaccination data.

WAHonline consent

Indicates whether the person has consented to electronic transmission to WAHonline.

Newsletter

Enables or disables the newsletter subscription for this record.

Treating user

Availability

Only available in offisy Praxis when the ModuleMedical module is active and more than one treating user is configured.

Select the default treating practitioner for this person. The selection is pre-filled when creating new appointments.

Groups

Assign the person to one or more customer groups. Available groups are managed under Settings → Account Management → Patients / Customer Management → Groups.

Referral

Record how the person found out about the practice. The options are configured in settings. The field is freely editable (max. 200 characters).

Online appointment booking & messages

Controls this person's behavior for online booking and automated message delivery:

Setting	Meaning
Allow online appointment booking	Defines whether and how the person can book appointments via the online booking portal
Default delivery for appointment changes	Notification channel (e.g. SMS, email) for appointment changes
Default delivery for appointment reminders	Notification channel for automatic appointment reminders
Phone number used for SMS delivery	Primary or secondary phone number for SMS

Account for accounting export

This setting is only available if the Accounting Export module is included in your license.

Store the account number used for this person during accounting exports.

Booking profile tab

If the person has a linked online booking profile, an additional Booking profile tab is shown. It displays the master data from the booking profile (name, address, email) alongside the current record data. Use Apply to transfer individual differing fields into the record.
