Send Notifications Praxis Desk

Send SMS messages or emails directly to a patient or customer from the customer list.

Prerequisites

  • A notification gateway is configured in settings.
  • The menu item is only visible when a gateway is active.

Sending an SMS

  1. Click the action menu (three dots) on the record you want.
  2. Select Send notification.
  3. Choose SMS as the channel.
  4. Select the phone number field (primary or secondary).
  5. Enter the message.
  6. Click Send.

Sending an email

  1. Click the action menu (three dots) on the record you want.
  2. Select Send notification.
  3. Choose Email as the channel.
  4. The email address stored in the record is used automatically.
  5. Enter the message.
  6. Click Send.
