Store insurance information directly in a patient's or customer's record.

Adding insurance

1. Open the record and select Edit patient from the action menu.
2. In the Edit patient dialog, switch to the Insurance tab.
3. Select the Pflichtversicherung (statutory insurance) from the list of Austrian health insurers.
4. Select the insurance type (e.g. self-pay, statutory, private).
5. Click Save.

Adding additional insurance

Besides the Pflichtversicherung, the Versicherung tab offers two more fields:

• Zus. Pflichtversicherungen — for additional statutory insurance the person holds.
• Private Zusatzversicherung — free-text field for private supplementary insurance.

Co-insured through

In the Co-insured through field, use Search to look up the record of the person the current person is co-insured through, or enter the details manually using Input.

Prescription fee exemption

In the Prescription fee exemption field, select whether the person is exempt from the prescription fee (default: Not exempt).
