Documents Praxis Desk

In the patient record you can upload, view, download, and delete documents. This keeps all relevant files directly with the record.

Where to find documents in the patient record

  1. Open the record you want in the patient list.
  2. Click the Datei tab in the record's entry panel.

Uploaded documents then appear in the History tab with the abbreviation Dat.

  3. Click Upload.

Note: Allowed file formats and the maximum file size (max. 15 MB) depend on your license settings.

Linking a file to an appointment

When you upload a file to the patient record (Datei tab), choose the appointment the file belongs to in the Termin auswählen field. If you open the record from an appointment, the field is prefilled with that appointment. One appointment applies to all files of the same upload.

In a file's edit dialog, you set or change the appointment in the Termin field. Click the X to remove it. If you only rename the file, the link stays.

If Offisy can't link the selected appointment, it still saves the file. This happens, for example, when the appointment belongs to another patient, was deleted, or you lack the permission. Offisy then shows the notice Termin nicht zugeordnet with the text Die Datei wurde gespeichert. Der gewählte Termin konnte nicht zugeordnet werden, weil er nicht mehr verfügbar ist oder die Berechtigung fehlt.

Note: Image capture (photo or video) does not set an appointment. The Termin auswählen field also doesn't appear in the dialogs for service records (Elda), e-card, and BodyChart.

Downloading a document

  1. Open the action menu for the document you want in the History tab.
  2. Select Download.
