The annual receipt summarizes all sales of a calendar year, from the registration of the register until December 31.

How it works

Your register creates the annual receipt (or collective receipt) automatically as soon as the last sale of the year has been booked. This receipt closes out the year for your cash register. It contains the sum of all sales and the information used for tamper protection.

When you need it

You have to create and verify the annual receipt every year by February 15 of the following year. You usually do this together with your tax advisor, using the BMF receipt check app or directly in the FinanzOnline portal.
