Issue an RKSV Certificate Praxis Desk Kasse

You need a certificate for your RKSV cash register. It signs your receipts. You issue it in a wizard with three steps.

Prerequisites

• Your license includes the RKSV.
• The company name in offisy is identical to the name your tax office knows. The certificate is issued to this name.
• You know your VAT identification number (UID). If you don't have one, you need an alternative number (tax number or GLN).

How to proceed

1. Open Kasse > RKSV.
2. In the Zertifikate section, click Zertifikat ausstellen.

3. On the page Zertifikat einrichten, check the table Ihr gewähltes Paket. It shows which features your license includes. If you want a higher package, click Lizenz upgraden. Click Einrichtung abbrechen to cancel the wizard.
4. Click Fortfahren und Zertifikat ausstellen.

5. 1. Schritt - Stammdaten: Check the Unternehmensname and enter the E-Mail. The email is a required field. Click Weiter.

6. 2. Schritt - Zertifikatsinformationen: Enter the Umsatzsteuer-Identifikationsnummer (UID). If you don't have one, select the Steuernummer or the GLN - Global Location Number under Art and enter the number under Nummer. Click Weiter.

7. 3. Schritt - Zertifikat: Check the company, contact and UID under Daten kontrollieren. Tick the checkbox to accept the terms. Only then can you click Zertifikat verbindlich ausstellen.
8. Click Zertifikat verbindlich ausstellen.

offisy shows Fertig! with a note that the certificate is being issued. This takes a few minutes.

9. Click Zurück zur Übersicht. Your certificate appears in the Zertifikate section with its serial number and the status Aktiv.

Next, create the register.

Note: If the certificate isn't available after 60 minutes, contact support.

View certificate data

Click the arrow button on the right of the certificate's row and select Zertifikatsdaten. The window shows Art der Sicherheitseinrichtung, Vertrauensdiensteanbieter and Seriennummer. You need this information if you register the register with FinanzOnline yourself.

Common errors

• "Bitte geben Sie Ihre E-Mail Adresse ein." The wizard only continues once an email is entered in the Stammdaten step.
• Company name doesn't match the tax office. Change the name in the company data before you issue the certificate. Mismatched data can require issuing the certificate again.
