Reading AES Key Characters Correctly Praxis Desk Kasse

How do I read the AES key correctly?

When you copy or type the AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) key, it is easy to confuse the capital letter I (as in India) with the lowercase letter l (as in Lima). The digit 1 often looks similar, too.

The safest way is to copy the key straight from offisy with copy and paste. If you have to type it by hand, check the characters in a font such as Courier, where serifs (the small hooks on letters) are easier to see. offisy uses unambiguous labels in the register information to keep mistakes to a minimum.
