Save Calendar Views and Set a Default Praxis Desk
Saved views store your current column and grouping configuration in the calendar. You can create as many views as you like and mark one as your default.
Note: Saved views are stored per user. Other users cannot see your views.
Prerequisites
- You have configured the calendar (columns, grouping) the way you want to save it.
- If you're new to the calendar, read Using the New Calendar first.
How to
Save the current view
- Set up the calendar the way you want to save it (columns, grouping).
- Click Views in the top right.
- Click Save current view.
- Enter a unique name for the view.
- Click Save.
The view now appears in the views list.
Apply a saved view
- Click Views in the top right.
- Select the view you want from the list.
The calendar immediately loads the saved configuration.
Rename or delete a view
- Click Views in the top right.
- Hover over the view you want to edit.
- Click the pencil icon to rename or the trash icon to delete.
- Confirm the action.
Set a view as default
- Click Views in the top right.
- Hover over the view you want to use as default.
- Click the star icon next to the view.
The calendar will automatically load this view the next time you open it.
Common issues
The view doesn't load automatically when opening the calendar. Check that you actually marked the view as default (star icon filled). A view without the star is not set as default.
A saved view no longer shows the expected columns. If you changed the calendar configuration after saving, the old view doesn't reflect those changes automatically. Save the view again with the same name to update it.
