Columns and Resources Praxis Desk

In the calendar you control which columns are shown — practitioners, resources (e.g. rooms or equipment), and locations. You can add, remove, rename, color, and reorder columns with drag and drop.

Requirements

  • Access to the calendar

Show and hide columns

  1. Open the calendar.
  2. Click Column selection in the toolbar.
  3. Toggle individual columns on or off.

The selection applies only to your current view.

Change column order

Drag a column to the desired position.

Rename a column

  1. Open the column settings.
  2. Enter the desired name under Display name.
  3. Click Save.

The display name replaces the system name only in the calendar view.

Change column color

  1. Open the column settings.
  2. Choose a color under Color.
  3. Click Save.

Merge columns

You can combine multiple columns into a single merged column.

  1. Open the settings for a column.
  2. Select the additional columns under Combine with.
  3. Click Save.

Appointments from all merged columns appear in one shared column.

Split a merged column

  1. Open the settings for the merged column.
  2. Remove the assignments under Combine with.
  3. Click Save.

Group columns quickly

Use the toolbar to quickly group columns:

  • All — all active columns side by side
  • By practitioner — practitioner columns only
  • By resources — resource columns only
  • By locations — location columns only

If the Cooperation module is included in your license, columns are additionally grouped by company.
