Create a daily closing automatically Praxis Desk Kasse

Have Offisy create the daily closing at a fixed time every day instead of triggering it manually.

Required license

This feature requires the add-on RKSV Premium or RKSV Unlimitiert for Praxis, Desk, and Kasse.

Prerequisites

• RKSV Premium or RKSV Unlimitiert. Without one of these add-ons, you do not see the Tagesabschluss (daily closing) section. You then create the daily closing manually.
• The settings are part of your register's general settings, see General settings.

How to proceed

1. Open Kasse (register) > Einstellungen (settings) and switch to the Grundeinstellungen (general settings) tab.
2. Scroll to the Tagesabschluss section.
3. Turn on the Automatische Erstellung (automatic creation) switch. Offisy then creates the daily closing automatically when sales occurred during the day.
4. Under Uhrzeit der Erstellung (time of creation), select the full hour between 0:00 and 23:00. The default is 11:00 PM.
5. Click Speichern (save).

You then see the message Einstellungen gespeichert. (settings saved).

You find the Automatische Erstellung switch and the monthly receipt setting on the same tab. For how they work together, see Automatic receipt creation.

Note: With automatic creation, the closing period ends at the time you selected. It starts where the last closing ends.

This is how automatic creation behaves:

• With tenants: Offisy creates a separate daily closing for each tenant (Mandant). Without tenants, Offisy creates one closing for your company.
• Without sales: Offisy does not create a daily closing if no sales occurred since the last closing.
• Creator: Offisy enters the owner of your company as the Ersteller (creator).

You find the automatically created closing like any other under Journaling > Tagesabschluss.

Common errors

I do not see the Tagesabschluss section. Your account has neither RKSV Premium nor RKSV Unlimitiert. For license questions, write to support@offisy.at.

Offisy did not create a daily closing. Check that the Automatische Erstellung switch is on. Also, sales must have occurred since the last closing. Without sales, Offisy does not create a closing.
