Configure general settings Praxis Desk Kasse
In the Grundeinstellungen tab of the cash register settings, you set the tax rate, currency, monthly receipt, daily closing, and the home page notice.
Where do I find the general settings?
Open Einstellungen via the gear icon in the left menu. Select Kasse → Allgemein, then the Grundeinstellungen tab.
Requirements
The Allgemein menu item requires the Einstellungen verwalten permission.
Required license
The "Monatsbeleg" and "Tagesabschluss" sections are only available with the RKSV Premium or RKSV Unlimitiert module.
Tax rate
In the Standard field, select the tax rate that is preselected automatically for new invoices.
Currency
In the Name der Währung field, choose whether you bill in EUR or US-Dollar.
In the Darstellung field, choose the currency format. A live preview shows the format using the sample amount 120,10.
Monthly receipt
In the Erstellungszeitpunkt field, you set when the monthly receipt is created:
- Aktiviert: The monthly receipt is created automatically on the first day of the month at 12:00 AM.
- Deaktiviert: The monthly receipt is created before the first receipt of the new month.
Daily closing
Turn on Automatische Erstellung to create the daily closing automatically. It only runs if revenue was generated that day. For details, see Create a daily closing automatically.
When automatic creation is on, the Uhrzeit der Erstellung field also appears. Select a full hour between 0:00 and 23:00.
Home page
Use the Öster. Registrierkassen-Verordnung switch to control whether the cash register information appears on the home page.
Save settings
Click Speichern at the bottom right. Offisy confirms with the message "Einstellungen gespeichert.".
Permissions
To open and edit the general settings, you need the Einstellungen verwalten permission.
