View daily closings Praxis Desk Kasse
A daily closing (Tagesabschluss) summarizes revenue and payments for a period. Here you see all created closings and output them as a preview, printout, or PDF.
Where do I find daily closings?
Open the Journaling menu and click Tagesabschluss. The page is titled Tagesabschlüsse and lists all closings created so far.
Note: A daily closing is not an RKSV receipt. It carries no signature and is not sent to FinanzOnline. It does not change any invoices, receipts, or the cash book.
Prerequisites
You need the permission Rechnungen > Tagesabschluss > Anzeigen (Invoices > Daily closing > View) to open the page.
Required license
The tenant features on this page require the Mandantenmodul add-on for Praxis, Desk, and Kasse. Without the tenant module nothing changes: there is no tenant selection, and each closing applies to the entire company. If you have questions about your license, contact support@offisy.at.
Filters
- 1Erstellen button, see Create a daily closing.
- 2Zeitraum filter.
- Account — selects the account whose daily closings the table shows. The filter only appears if you can access multiple accounts.
- Mandant (tenant) — selects the tenant. The filter only appears if multiple tenants are available to you.
- Zeitraum (period) — limits the table to a date range. The default is the current month.
The range can span at most 366 consecutive days. Offisy rejects longer ranges. Offisy remembers the last range you selected in your browser.
Note: If tenants are set up, the table always shows the closings of the selected tenant. The first tenant is preselected, and there is no option for all tenants. You only see tenants you have read permission for. You only see closings without a tenant if you may read all tenants.
Data table
The table lists every created daily closing with these columns:
- Nr. — sequential closing number. Clicking the number opens the preview.
- Ersteller — user who created the closing
- Erstellt am — date and time of creation
- Zeitraum — start and end date of the closing
- Account — only visible if you can access multiple accounts
- Mandant — only visible if multiple tenants are available to you. The column shows the tenant abbreviation, and the name appears when you hover over it.
With only one tenant, the Mandant filter and the Mandant column are missing.
Offisy sorts the table by Erstellt am in descending order. The newest closing is at the top.
The number counts up per tenant and starts again at 1 in the new year. Each closing starts where the previous one ends. The first closing starts on January 1 of the current year. This leaves no gaps in the period.
Actions per row
- Vorschau (preview) — opens the daily closing in a full-screen window titled "Tagesabschluss" with the number. Click Schließen to return to the list.
- Drucken (print) — opens your browser's print dialog.
- PDF herunterladen (download PDF) — opens the daily closing as a PDF in a new tab. The file is named
Tagesabschluss.pdf.
You cannot edit, cancel, or delete a daily closing.
Read the contents of a daily closing
The preview shows a header, an overview, and several sections with tables. What each part shows is explained in Contents of the daily closing.
Export
At the right end of the table bar, you'll find the output menu. There you can Drucken (print) the filtered list or download it as an Excel or CSV file. The file is named Tagesabschluesse.
Permissions
You find both permissions in the roles dialog.
- Rechnungen > Tagesabschluss > Anzeigen — required to open the page and the data table.
- Rechnungen > Tagesabschluss > Erstellen — required to create new daily closings. It includes Anzeigen.
The default role Mitarbeiter has full access. With tenants, Offisy checks the permission per tenant.
