Send an Invoice by Email Praxis Kasse Desk

Send an invoice, fee note, or receipt to your customer as a PDF attachment by email.

Requirements

  • You need the Rechnung: Anzeigen permission for the document.
  • The customer has at least one email address on file, or you enter a custom address.

Steps

  1. Open the invoice, fee note, or receipt and choose the output type Send by email. The Send by email dialog opens as a full-screen modal.
  2. In the Recipient section, pick one of the customer's saved addresses, or turn on Custom email address and enter your own address.
  3. Check or change the Subject. This field is required.
  4. Adjust the title and subtitle in the email preview if needed. Both are prefilled: the title with the document's name, the subtitle with "from {client or company name}".
  5. Edit the email body in the editor below. The body is also required.
  6. If more than one template is available, choose the template you want to send.
  7. Review the customer summary and the PDF preview of the document on the right.
  8. Click Send. offisy attaches the document as a PDF, marks the invoice as printed, and saves the last sent email.

Common issues

  • The "Send" button stays disabled: The recipient, subject, or body is empty, or the entered email address is invalid. Fill in all required fields correctly.
  • No matching recipient address available: The customer has no email address on file. Add an address to the customer, or use Custom email address in the dialog.

If you want to send several invoices at once, use Request Multiple Invoices by Email instead.
