Convert an invoice draft into an invoice Praxis Kasse Desk

Convert one or more invoice drafts into a real invoice or receipt.

An invoice draft isn't fiscally relevant yet and doesn't count as revenue. Converting it creates the actual invoice or receipt document. You can't pay, dun, or book a draft as a receipt directly. Convert it first to use these functions.

Requires the Invoice Drafts module, included in Praxis, Desk, and Kasse.

Requirements

• You have the Rechnung & Beleg erstellen permission.
• The draft isn't deleted and hasn't been converted yet.

Steps

1. Open the Invoice Drafts page.
2. Select one or more drafts in the table.
3. Click Convert.
4. In the Convert invoice drafts dialog, choose the payment method: Invoice, Cash, Debit, or Credit.
5. Leave the Delete drafts after creation toggle on if the drafts should disappear from the list afterward. Turn it off if you want to keep them.
6. Confirm with Create as invoice (for payment method Invoice) or Create as receipt (for Cash, Debit, or Credit).

Each selected draft becomes its own invoice or receipt document. You see the message Drafts have been converted.. If you selected multiple drafts, the conversion runs in one step.

Common issues

• "Convert" button is missing: You're missing the Rechnung & Beleg erstellen permission.
• Draft can't be converted: The draft has already been deleted or already converted.
