Find Free Slots in the Calendar Praxis Desk
The slot search scans a date range and shows you free time slots that match a service, duration, and practitioner.
Prerequisites
- You have the Termine anzeigen (view appointments) permission.
How to
- Open the calendar and click the magnifying-glass button Freie Slots finden (find free slots) in the toolbar. This opens the Freie Termine finden (find free appointments) popover, titled Slot-Suche (slot search).
- Set your search criteria:
- Leistung (service): Select a service in the Leistung auswählen field.
- Dauer (Minuten) (duration in minutes): Click one of the buttons 15, 30, 45, 60, 90, or 120. This field only appears if you don't select a service.
- Behandler:in (practitioner) (optional): Defaults to Keine Auswahl. You can select multiple people, grouped by company.
- Choose the Zeitraum (date range) using the two date fields or a quick option: Morgen, Aktuelle Woche, Aktueller Monat, or Nächster Monat. The next 14 days are preset.
- Click Freie Slots suchen.
- Under the count and the text freie Slots, you see the matches as a list. Clicking a slot creates an appointment right away.
- Click Markierung entfernen to hide the highlighting in the calendar.
Note: The search is limited to a maximum of 3 months in the future.
The calendar highlights the matching free time slots.
Common issues
| Problem | Solution |
|---|---|
| No slots are displayed | Check that the selected date range falls within the next 3 months. Try reducing the Behandler:in restriction. |
| No practitioners available | The Behandler:in field shows the message Keine Behandler:innen verfügbar. You can't select a person then. |
