Link Rooms to the Waiting Room TV Praxis

You define which TV displays show call-ups for a specific room. You configure the link directly on the resource.

This feature requires the Resources and Waiting Room TV add-ons for Praxis.

Where do I find the waiting room TV link?

Go to Settings → Calendar → Resources. Select a resource and click Edit. The Waiting Room TV tab only appears for resources whose category has the type Room.

Prerequisites

• The Resources add-on is active.
• The Waiting Room TV add-on is active.
• At least one resource with the category type Room exists. See Create a resource for details.
• At least one TV display is set up. See Set up a waiting room TV display for details.

Link a room to a display

1. Go to Settings → Calendar → Resources.
2. Click Edit on the room you want to configure.
3. Switch to the Waiting Room TV tab.
4. Select one or more displays in the TV Displays field.
5. Click Save.

Call-ups created for this room now appear on the selected displays.

Add a floor and directions

In the same tab you can fill in the Floor/Directions field. This text appears in the call-up on the display when the Show floor option is enabled there.

1. Open the Waiting Room TV tab on the resource (see above).
2. Enter the desired text in the Floor/Directions field, e.g. "1st floor, room 3".
3. Click Save.
