Manage product categories Praxis Desk Kasse

Product categories let you organize your products and services by topic. Each product can be assigned to exactly one category. Categories help you filter the product list quickly.

Create a category

1. Open the Products & Services section.
2. Click the menu in the top right and select Product categories.
3. Click Add category.
4. Enter a name for the category.
5. Optionally choose a color — this can be inherited by assigned products.
6. Click Save.

Edit a category

1. Open the Product categories page.
2. Click Edit on the desired category.
3. Adjust the name or color.
4. Click Save.

Assign a category to a product

1. Open the product for editing.
2. Switch to the Settings tab.
3. Select the desired category in the Category field.
4. Click Save.

TIP

Enable the Color based on category option on a product to automatically inherit the color of the assigned category.
