Manage inventory Praxis Desk Kasse

Inventory management keeps you on top of your stock levels. You can define minimum and target stock levels, update stock, and view the stock history.

Warehouse management

This feature requires the Warehouse management add-on.

Prerequisites

• The product must be of type Product (not Service).
• Inventory tracking must be enabled for the product.

Enable inventory tracking

1. Open the product for editing.
2. Switch to the Stock tab.
3. Enable the Track inventory toggle.
4. Enter the desired values:
   • Current stock — your actual stock level
   • Minimum stock — you'll be warned when this is exceeded
   • Target stock — your desired stock level
5. Optionally enter the purchase price (net).
6. Click Save.

Update stock

1. Click the action menu for the desired product in the product list.
2. Select Update stock.
3. Enter the new stock level.
4. Click Save.

View stock history

1. Click the action menu for the desired product.
2. Select Stock history.
3. You'll see a chronological overview of all stock changes.

Manage purchases

1. Click the action menu for the desired product.
2. Select Manage purchases.
3. Here you can document orders and record incoming deliveries.

Filter product list by stock

Use the Inventory filter in the product list to display specifically:

• Inventory active — all products with active inventory tracking
• Below target stock — products whose stock is below the target level
• Below minimum — products whose stock is below the minimum level

Common errors

• Inventory management not visible: Make sure the product is of type Product. Inventory management is not available for services.
• Stock not shown: Check whether the relevant columns are enabled in the table. Click Configure columns and enable the Stock column group.
