Create a product or service Praxis Desk Kasse

In offisy you can create two types of entries: products (physical goods) and services. Both are managed in the same section.

Number of products

The maximum number of products depends on your chosen plan.

How to do it

1. Open the Products & Services section from the main menu.
2. Click the Product / Service button.
3. Fill in the fields in the General tab:
   • Name — name of the product or service (required)
   • Type — choose between Product and Service
   • Unit — e.g. piece, pack, kilogram, liter, or hour
   • Item number — your internal number
   • EAN — European Article Number (can be generated automatically)
   • Price (net) and Price (gross) — price is calculated automatically based on the configured VAT rate
4. Click Save.

TIP

Use the arrow button next to the EAN field to generate a random EAN number.

Optional settings

In the Settings tab you can configure additional options:

• Category — assign the product to a category
• Quick selection groups — add the product to one or more groups
• Color — assign an individual color or inherit the category color
• Quick selection — enable quick access during invoicing
• Open edit window — automatically opens the edit window when adding to an invoice
• Sellable — determines whether the product can be used on invoices
• Archive — archived products are not shown during invoicing
