Set Up DVP Billing Praxis Desk
Set up DVP Billing once before you submit your first billing submission to an insurance carrier.
Where do I find the DVP settings?
Go to Settings → Medical → DVP.
Requirements
- The DVP module is activated in your license.
- Praxis customers: Your e-card is set up — you have a valid Ocard (practice card) with an insurance contract.
- Desk customers: You have at least one DVP contract partner stored.
- You have the DVP Settings permission.
Configure DVP settings
Here you can control the behavior during consultations:
- Automatically create a form on consultation: When enabled, offisy automatically creates a DVP form when a consultation is completed (without diagnoses and without services — the form is only linked to the consultation). When disabled, you create forms manually.
Assign permissions
Define which users are allowed to access the DVP module. Permissions are assigned per user:

| Create | Create new DVP forms and billing submissions |
| Edit | Modify existing DVP forms |
| Delete | Remove DVP forms and billing submissions |
| Upload | Send billing submissions to the insurance carrier via ELDA |
| Journaling | View the activity log of DVP forms |
| Settings | Manage DVP settings |
You assign permissions under Users → select user → Permissions tab.
