Draw and zoom Praxis Desk

Draw freely on the body diagram, edit drawn lines afterwards, and zoom in on the visible area.

This feature requires the BodyChart add-on for Praxis and Desk.

• Bodychart: Erstellen or Bodychart: Bearbeiten permission.

Draw freehand

Switch to Freihand (freehand) mode to draw freely on the body diagram in addition to markers:

• Tools: Auswählen/Verschieben (select/move), Freihand, Linie (line), Pfeil (arrow), Kreis (circle), Rechteck (rectangle), Kreuz (cross), Text, Radierer (eraser)
• Choose Farbe (color) and Stärke (thickness) in the toolbar
• Rückgängig reverts the last step, Löschen removes the drawing on the current view

Edit drawn lines afterwards

You don't have to delete a shape and redraw it. In Freihand mode, use the Auswählen/Verschieben tool (the cross-arrow icon on the far left of the toolbar) to change shapes after the fact.

This also works for Bodycharts that are already saved: open the entry for editing, change the shape, and save. Nothing can be edited in the view or the history.

1. Choose the Auswählen/Verschieben tool and click the shape. Offisy marks it with a dashed outline and small white handles. Clicking an empty spot clears the selection.
2. Drag the shape to move it.
3. Drag a handle to resize it:
   • Linie and Pfeil: two handles at the endpoints. On an arrow, the arrowhead follows.
   • Rechteck, Kreis, Kreuz, and Freihand strokes: four corner handles. Freehand strokes scale uniformly and keep their stroke thickness.
   • A single dot (a click in Freihand mode) has no handles. You can only move and recolor it.
4. Pick a different Farbe or Stärke in the toolbar. Only the selected shape changes. The toolbar shows the color and thickness of the selected shape.
5. Click the trash can (tooltip Auswahl löschen) or press the Delete key or Backspace to delete only the selected shape. Offisy doesn't ask for confirmation. With nothing selected, the trash can still deletes the whole drawing — after a confirmation.

Use Rückgängig in the toolbar to step back through moving, dragging handles, color and thickness changes, and deleting. There is no redo. Rückgängig stays active even after you delete the last shape.

Note: If you switch the sheet (the template), you can no longer undo the previous drawing.

Zoom a Bodychart

You can zoom in the window for creating and the window for editing a Bodychart. The zoom controls sit on the right side of the toolbar:

1. Click Plus to zoom in or Minus to zoom out. Between them, Offisy shows the current zoom in percent.
2. Zoom ranges from 100% to 400% in steps of 25%.
3. Above 100% zoom, hold the Space bar and drag the diagram to move the visible area.
4. Click Zoom zurücksetzen (reset zoom) to return to 100%. You only see this button while zoom is active.

When you switch the view, Offisy resets the zoom to 100%.
