Download and manage backups Praxis Desk Kasse

The backup overview shows all created backups. You can download or delete them from here.

Backup overview

The backup list shows all backups with the following information:

ColumnDescription
CreatedDate and time of creation.
StatusCurrent state of the backup (see below).
File sizeSize of the backup file (e.g. 52 MB).
DurationHow long the creation took.
ChecksumSHA256 hash for verifying file integrity.
ExportsWhich data types are included.
DownloadsHow many times the backup has been downloaded.

Status display

StatusMeaning
PendingThe backup is waiting to be created.
CreatingThe backup is currently being generated.
(no badge)Done — the backup is ready to download.
ErrorCreation failed. Create a new backup.

Switch company

If you have access to multiple companies, select the desired company at the top. The backup list always shows only the backups of the currently selected company.

Use the date range filter to narrow down the displayed time period.

Download a backup

  1. Find the desired backup in the list.
  2. Click the Download button.
  3. The backup file is downloaded as a ZIP archive.

Note: Download is only possible when the backup has the status Done. The button is disabled for backups that are in progress or have failed.

Delete a backup

  1. Click the Delete button next to the desired backup.
  2. Confirm the deletion in the confirmation dialog.

Note: A backup that is currently being created cannot be deleted. Wait until creation is complete.
