Create a user Praxis Desk Kasse

Learn how to create new users in offisy and configure the right settings for their roles.

Prerequisites

  • You have administrator rights in offisy.

How to do it

  1. Go to Settings and open the Users menu item.
  2. Click the Create new user button.
  3. Enter the new user's details. Pay attention to the required fields:
    • First name
    • Last name
    • Email address (must be unique — it can only be used once in the system)
  4. Set a secure password.
  5. Choose the appropriate type for the user. Three options are available:
    • Admin tasks: For assistants who handle administrative work.
    • Treats patients: Enable this if the user provides medical or therapeutic services.
    • Bookable: Enable this if appointments can be made for this user (e.g. via online booking).
  6. Click Create.

Common errors

  • Email address already in use: An email address can only be assigned to one user in offisy. If you get an error, check whether an account with that address already exists.
  • Missing permissions: If you don't see the Users menu item, you don't have the necessary administrator rights.
