What are Individual Services? Praxis Desk
Individual services are the bookable offerings of your practice or studio. You define what you offer, how long it takes, and what it costs.
How it works
Each individual service has a duration, a price, and optionally a category. When an appointment is booked — through online booking or manually in the calendar — an individual service is selected. This way you always know what was performed and billed at an appointment.
What you use it for
- Offer services: You define what clients and patients can book with you.
- Control time slots: You specify how long the service takes from the client's perspective and how much internal processing time you need.
- Set prices: You store the gross price directly on the service.
- Assign categories: You group services for a better overview.
- Track consumables: You link materials to a service to track consumption costs.
Billing
Every appointment with an individual service has a billing status:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Open | Not yet billed |
| Billed | Included in an invoice or fee note |
| Do not bill | Deliberately excluded from billing |
