GDT interface Praxis
External systems can submit files to Offisy through the GDT interface. The interface is currently supported by SonoGDT.
What is the GDT interface?
The GDT interface is an API endpoint that lets external devices or programs send files to Offisy. The external system authenticates with an API key and a company ID.
Prerequisites
- You're logged in as an Administrator.
- You have access to Medical Settings.
Set up the interface
- Open Medical Settings.
- Navigate to the GDT Interface section.
- Click Generate. Offisy automatically creates a secure API key.
- Click Save.
- After generating, the credentials are displayed. Click Copy to save them to your clipboard.
- Configure the external system (e.g. SonoGDT) with the copied credentials:
- x-sonogdt-company: Your company's UUID in Offisy
- x-sonogdt-secret: The automatically generated API key
Note: Without a generated API key the interface is disabled. External systems cannot send files to Offisy.
Note: Use Delete to remove the API key and disable the interface again.
Supported systems

Common issues
- External system can't send files: Check that an API key has been generated and saved. Make sure the copied credentials are correctly entered in the external system.
- File is not assigned to a patient: Make sure the correct patient ID is being submitted.
- File is rejected: The maximum file size is 15 MB. Also check that there is sufficient storage space available.
