Service Bundles Praxis

Service bundles group multiple billing services together. When adding services to a patient record, you can select an entire bundle at once instead of searching for each service individually.

Where do I find service bundles?

Open SettingsBilling ServicesService Bundles button in the top right.

Create a service bundle

  1. Click Create Service Bundle.

  2. Fill in the fields:

    • Name (required) — label for the bundle, e.g. "Initial Examination" or "Follow-up Appointment"
    • Price — optional total price for the bundle (can be overridden when adding it)
    • Insurance — restricts which insurers the bundle applies to:
      • All — for all patients
      • Custom — you select individual insurers (tabs: ÖGK, KFA, SVS, BVA, Other)
      • None — no insurer binding
  3. Click Create.

The bundle is now created but doesn't contain any services yet. You assign services in the next step.

Assign services to a bundle

You can assign services to a bundle in two ways:

Method 1: From the service table

  1. Go to SettingsBilling Services.
  2. Open the action menu (three dots) of a service in the table.
  3. Below the divider you'll see all existing service bundles.
  4. Click a bundle to add the service.
  5. Click the same bundle again (now showing a minus icon) to remove the service.

Alternatively, click the plus icon directly next to the bundle name in the Service Bundles column.

Method 2: In the service edit dialog

  1. Open a service for editing (click on the title or action menu → Edit).
  2. Switch to the Service Bundles tab.
  3. Select the desired bundles from the multi-select list.
  4. Click Save.

Sort services within a bundle

You can adjust the order of services within a bundle in the edit dialog. The service list there is sortable via drag and drop.

Edit a service bundle

  1. Click the name of a bundle on the Service Bundles page.
  2. Change the name, price, or insurance assignment.
  3. Click Save.

Delete a service bundle

  1. Open the action menu of a bundle (three dots).
  2. Click Delete.
  3. Confirm the prompt.

Note: Deleting a bundle only removes the bundle itself. The associated billing services remain unchanged.

Sort service bundles

On the Service Bundles page you can change the order of bundles via drag and drop. Click the grip icon on the left of a bundle and drag it to the desired position. The order affects how bundles are displayed in the bundle selection.

Use service bundles in the patient record

When adding services to a patient, you can select a bundle as a starting point. All services in the bundle are then suggested at once. You can still adjust or remove individual services before saving.

Tip: For frequent combinations — e.g. a standard examination always requiring the same 3–4 services — a service bundle is especially useful.
