Manage tenants Desk Praxis Kasse

Here you create tenants, edit their master data, and manage order, status, and the default tenant.

Where do I find tenants?

Open Settings and select the Tenants section. You'll see a list of all existing tenants.

Prerequisites

• The tenants module is activated in your license.
• You have admin permission in offisy.

Create a tenant

1. Click Create new tenant.
2. Fill in the required fields:
   • Name — full name of the tenant (e.g. location name or company name)
   • Abbreviation — short label for display in the app (e.g. "VIE" for Vienna)
3. Optionally add address and contact details:
   • Street, house number, postal code, city
   • Phone, email, website
4. Enter the VAT number if applicable.
5. Click Save.

Edit a tenant

1. Click the desired tenant in the list.
2. Edit the master data in the General settings tab (name, abbreviation, address, contact, VAT number).
3. Switch to additional tabs as needed:
   • Settings — color for visual identification of the tenant
   • Billing settings — number sequences for invoice, receipt, fee note, cash book (depending on active modules also drafts/quotes and cost center); taxation method (accrual vs. cash basis)
   • Bank account — bank details (institution, IBAN, BIC/SWIFT, account holder) and FinanzOnline credentials (TID, BID, PIN)
4. Click Save.

Note: Changes to number sequences affect all future documents for this tenant. Already issued documents remain unchanged.

Deactivate a tenant

1. Click the action menu for the desired tenant in the list.
2. Select Deactivate and confirm the action.

Deactivated tenants no longer appear in the app's context switcher. You can reactivate them at any time via the action menu.

Set the default tenant

1. Click the action menu for the desired tenant in the list.
2. Select Set as default.

The default tenant is automatically selected on login. Only one tenant per account can be set as default.

Change the order

Drag a tenant using the drag handle on the left edge of the list to the desired position. The order determines how tenants appear in the app's context switcher.
