Customize statuses, tags, and numbering to match your team's workflow.

Prerequisites

  • You have the Manage task settings permission.

How to do it

  1. Open the Tasks menu item.
  2. Click Settings.

Customize the label

You can set a custom label for the module (e.g. "Tasks", "Todos", or "Actions").

  1. Enter the desired names in the Label (singular) and Label (plural) fields.
  2. Click Save.

The new label is used throughout the system — in menus, headings, and buttons.

Set the number prefix

Each task gets an automatic number. You can choose the prefix freely (e.g. "TSK" results in TSK-001, TSK-002, etc.).

  1. Enter the desired prefix in the Number prefix field.
  2. Click Save.

Manage statuses

Create custom statuses for your team. Each status has a name, a color, and a type.

Status types

TypeMeaning
OpenThe task has not started yet.
In progressThe task is currently being worked on.
DoneThe task is complete.

Create a new status

  1. Click Add new status in the Status section.
  2. Enter a name (e.g. "Waiting for feedback").
  3. Choose a type (Open, In progress, or Done).
  4. Choose a color.
  5. Click Save.

Edit or delete a status

  • Click an existing status to edit it.
  • Click Delete to remove a status.

Note: A status can only be deleted if it is no longer assigned to any task.

Manage tags

Tags help you categorize tasks and filter them faster.

Create a new tag

  1. Click Add new tag in the Tags section.
  2. Enter a name (e.g. "Urgent", "Lab", "Callback").
  3. Choose a color.
  4. Click Save.

Edit or delete a tag

  • Click an existing tag to edit it.
  • Click Delete to remove a tag.
