Create API token Praxis Desk Kasse

Create an API token so an external application can access your Offisy data.

Prerequisites

• You have the Settings permission for the relevant company.

How to do it

1. Open Settings and under Interfaces select MCP API Tokens.
2. Click Create token.
3. Enter a Token name (e.g. "Claude Code Workspace").
4. Optional: Choose an Expiry date. Without an expiry date the token stays valid indefinitely.
5. Click Create.
6. The token is shown once. Click Copy to save it to your clipboard.

Note: The token is only shown once. Copy it immediately and store it securely. If you lose it, you need to create a new token.

7. In the same window you'll find a ready-made example configuration. Switch between Claude Code and Claude Desktop depending on which application you use.
8. Click Copy configuration and paste it into your application (see Set up MCP Server).
9. Click Close.

Common issues

• Token lost: Create a new token and revoke the old one.
• Button not visible: You don't have the Settings permission. Contact your administrator.
