Transaction Overview Praxis Desk Kasse

The transaction overview shows all bank transactions for a selected time period. At a glance, you can see which incoming payments have already been matched to an invoice and which are still unmatched.

Requirements

  • At least one bank account is set up in the Cash Match settings.
  • To assign a transaction to an invoice, you need the Cash Match – Edit permission.
  • To view the transaction overview, the Cash Match – Read permission is sufficient.
  • To open a matched invoice directly, you also need the Invoice: read permission.

Where do I find the transaction overview?

  1. Click Journaling in the left menu.
  2. Select Cash Match.

The table automatically loads all transactions for the current month.

Filtering

The following filters are available at the top of the page:

  • Time period – Choose a start and end date. Default is the current month.
  • Status – Filter by Matched (transaction is already linked to an invoice) or Unmatched (no match yet).
  • Client – Visible when the multi-client module is enabled. Filter by a specific client.

Click Filter to update the table.

Assign a transaction to an invoice

Cash Match assigns incoming payments automatically each day. Transactions that could not be matched automatically have the status Unmatched — you can link these manually.

  1. Click Assign invoice in the row of the desired transaction.
  2. Search for the matching invoice and select it.
  3. Confirm the assignment.

The transaction status changes to Matched and the invoice number appears in the Invoice column.
