offisy supports current versions of all major browsers. Here's which browsers we recommend and how to keep yours up to date.

Supported Browsers

We support the latest major version and the immediately preceding major version of the following browsers:

• Google Chrome
• Mozilla Firefox
• Microsoft Edge
• Apple Safari

Older versions no longer receive security updates from the vendor. We therefore cannot guarantee they work correctly and strongly recommend keeping your browser current.

Why Current Browsers Matter

Outdated browsers no longer receive security patches, meaning known vulnerabilities remain open. In an application that handles sensitive patient data, this is a real risk.

If you open offisy with an outdated browser, you will see a warning banner with the text “Ihr Browser ist veraltet. Aus Sicherheitsgründen werden wir in Zukunft veraltete Browserversionen nicht mehr unterstützen. Bitte aktualisieren Sie Ihren Browser.” (in German, it tells you the browser is outdated and asks you to update it). The banner links to this article. Use the close icon to hide it for the current session. For now, the warning does not block access. In the future, significantly outdated versions will no longer be supported for security reasons.

How to Update Your Browser

Google Chrome

1. Click the three dots (Menu) in the top right.
2. Select Help → About Google Chrome.
3. Chrome checks for updates automatically and installs them. Restart the browser when prompted.

Mozilla Firefox

1. Click the three lines (Menu) in the top right.
2. Select Help → About Firefox.
3. Firefox downloads available updates automatically. Restart the browser when prompted.

Microsoft Edge

1. Click the three dots (Menu) in the top right.
2. Select Help and feedback → About Microsoft Edge.
3. Edge checks for updates and installs them. Restart the browser when prompted.

Apple Safari

Safari updates alongside macOS or iOS.

1. Open System Settings (macOS) or Settings (iOS).
2. Go to General → Software Update.
3. Install any available updates.
