Edit and manage products Praxis Desk Kasse

In the Products & Services section you get an overview of all your products and services. Here you can filter, sort, edit, and perform other actions.

Filter

Use the filter bar at the top to narrow down the list:

• Status — multi-select with Active and Archived (the button shows "Active" by default)
• Filter — show only products, only services, or both
• Category — filter by one or more product categories
• Inventory — filter by Lagerbestand aktiv, unterhalb Zielbestand, or unterhalb Minimum
• Order — select Bestellung offen in the dropdown to show only products with an open purchase order. While it is active, the button is labeled Bestellung offen. This filter is only visible with inventory permission

The Status, Filter, Inventory, and Category dropdowns have a search field, for example with the placeholder "Suche nach Status". The Order dropdown has none. If nothing matches, the dropdown shows No results.

Select all and Invert selection only affect the entries that are visible after your search.

Sort

Use the menu in the top right to sort the list:

• Sort alphabetically — sorts by name
• Sort by item number — sorts by your internal number
• Sort by EAN number — sorts by EAN

Configure columns

Click Configure columns to customize the displayed table columns. The modal shows a list of rows with the columns Field and Sort:

• Drag a row by its handle to change the column order.
• In the Field dropdown, choose the desired column, grouped under General, Costs & tax, Other, and Stock.
• In the Sort dropdown, choose between None, Ascending, and Descending.
• Click the trash icon to remove a row.
• Click Add to add another row.

Click Save to finish.

Edit a product

1. Click the desired product in the list or open the row menu in the last column and select Edit.
2. Make your changes.
3. Click Save.

More actions

The row menu of a product also gives you:

• Duplicate — creates a copy of the product
• Bill — adds the product directly to an invoice
• Settings (submenu) — Archive or Restore, Mark as available or Mark as unavailable, Enable or disable inventory tracking, Add or remove quick selection, Enable or disable sale
• Delete — permanently removes the product

TIP

Archived products are not shown during invoicing. You can restore them at any time.

Storage configurations

Click Storage configurations in the top-right menu to open settings that apply across all products:

• Stock movements — define additional inbound types and outbound types that you can choose from when changing stock
• Notification — set an interval for stock warning notifications (default: Disabled)

Export

Use the menu in the top right to export the current product list.
