What Are POS Templates? Praxis Desk Kasse
POS templates are print templates for documents generated by the offisy cash register. They define how invoices, receipts, and other documents look and what information they contain.
You find the templates under Settings > Kasse > Templates.
Template types
You can create templates for the following document types:
- Invoice – for standard outgoing invoices.
- Receipt – for the cash register receipt.
- Honorarnote – only available with the Honorarnote module.
- Reminder – only available with the Reminder module.
Formats
Each template has a fixed format:
- A4 – Standard format for invoices and Honorarnoten.
- A5 – Half-page format, also suitable for documents.
- 56 mm – Receipt roll for receipt printers with 56 mm width.
- 80 mm – Receipt roll for receipt printers with 80 mm width.
The 56 mm and 80 mm formats are exclusively for receipt printers. For regular printers, use A4 or A5.
Multiple templates per type
You can create multiple templates for the same type. This is useful if you need different layouts for different purposes, for example. The first template in the list is the default template.
