Remove a Customer Group from a Customer
Removes the assignment of a customer group from a customer. The customer group itself is not affected — only the assignment to this customer is removed.
Request
DELETE /api/oauth/v2/resource/customers/{uuid}/groups/{groupUuid}
Header
| Header | Value |
|---|---|
Authorization | Bearer {access_token} |
URL parameters
| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
uuid | string (UUID) | Yes | Unique customer ID |
groupUuid | string (UUID) | Yes | Unique customer group ID |
Note (idempotency): If the customer group is not assigned to the customer, the endpoint still returns
200 OKwithout reporting an error. This makes the endpoint safe to call repeatedly — important for clients with retry logic.
Required scope: customers
Response
Success (200 OK)
Returns all customer groups still assigned to the customer after the removal.
